…Right! Now that we’ve got that out of the way, are all of you prepared to participate in “Master Chef”?
I believe you all chose this program after carefully reading through the course syllabus, but let’s review what Master Chef is about once more.

“Master Chef” is a class that allows you to learn cooking techniques by helping out in the school cafeteria.
At present, you are able to eat delicious food in the cafeteria. However, once you leave your dorms here you will need to prepare your own meals.

Eating out all the time will make your food expenses skyrocket, while eating only your favourite foods everyday will lead to malnutrition.

If you destroy your heart and soul because of that… Becoming a great mage would be nothing more than a fever dream!
Let’s learn about nutrition and meal planning so that you can live long, healthy and independent lives.
To advance to the next year and eventually graduate from Night Raven College, you need credits from both your core subjects and your electives…

You can gain one elective credit from Master Chef if your dish is well received by the judges.

Captivate the judges’ stomachs and both your cooking skills and credit will be recognised!

By the way, the judges are randomly selected from the students and staff in this school on the day the judging is held.
Why did we come up with this system? That’s because…

If the judging panel is decided beforehand, student after student will make illicit deals with the judges to pass!

Right. There is also a special perk that is offered only in Master Chef.
Helping out the cafeteria’s kitchen is part of your lessons. In other words, you are being put to work. Therefore…

Everyone here will be paid as part-time workers!
This means you will learn the importance of hard work as Master Chef students.

I joined this program because I want to get better at guiding my fellow dorm mates in sweet making.
I want to understand how it’s like being a rookie starting with the lessons here.

I joined because I also want to be able to prepare food for my guests whenever I host a banquet.
