Scalding Sands Fireworks Bleachers (Day)

Scalding Sands - Fireworks Bleachers

Cater
Hey, hey, is it just me or it’s been getting more and more crowded than when we first arrived?
Jamil
That’s because Silk City locals have been eagerly waiting for this day to come. They’re here early to claim their seats.
Trey
They brought their own food and drinks to start their own little parties. People are revelling everywhere you look.
Malleus
The bursting vigour of its subjects is proof of a fine city.
Grim
Now’s not the time to sit back and watch them! We’re gonna lose our seats!
Jamil
No worries, as we’ve all been guaranteed VIP seats.
Jamil
The VIP seats are the enclosed ones with canopies over there. It provides a comfortable viewing experience since we’ll have our privacy while being shielded from the heat.
Trey
They’re clearly meant for those of higher status in contrast to the regular seats. Those really look like a suite room from a high class hotel.
Jamil
They are special seats that are also dedicated to the foreign celebrities and artistes who were invited to attend the festival.
Malleus
I see that the green colour of the canopies is used quite frequently in this country so far.
Jamil
That peacock green colour is said to be loved and worn often by the princess from the folktale I mentioned.
Thus, textiles with peacock green as their base are used as street decorations over the course of the festival.
Trey
Looks like that tent over there was put up with red cloth.
Jamil
With how popular his legend is with the locals, that colour is definitely a homage to the Sorcerer of the Sands.
Cater
I wonder which angle would make the most photogenic snap of all~
Hey Jamil~ Where are the fireworks shot from?
Jamil
They are shot from the other side of the river which flows before the bleachers here.
While they can be viewed from anywhere in Silk City…
These bleachers are extremely popular as they enable visitors to view the fireworks up close and to relish in the intense beats of the music around them.
Trey
So that’s why everyone’s here to claim their seats.
Grim
Yannoooo, I’ve had my fill of fireworks talk already. Let’s go now… I’m so hungry my head’s all woozy…
Jamil
Okay, okay. Let’s head to the Camel Bazaar, then.
